Seconday School English Teacher (760)

The Modular Study Group (MSG) is a hybrid education programme that combines the strengths of homeschooling, online learning and classroom teaching for the children of missionaries.

The MSG in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is seeking a High School English Teacher to teach students in Grades 11 and 12. The successful candidate will help students develop strong skills in literature, writing, communication and critical thinking while encouraging a Christian worldview and a love for learning.

The teacher will work closely with students from missionary families who come together from various locations throughout the region. In addition to classroom instruction during the monthly modules, the teacher will support students' academic progress and contribute to a positive learning environment where students are challenged academically and encouraged spiritually.

Requirements:
A committed Christian with a heart for missionary education.
A degree in Education, English, Literature or a related field.
Teaching experience at secondary or high school level.
Ability to teach English language, literature, writing and communication skills.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
Good spoken and written English.
A servant-hearted attitude and willingness to support missionary families.
Previous cross-cultural experience is helpful but not essential.
