A small hospital in the Sahara desert has a need for a maintenance worker or engineer to help us take care of things that need fixing - whether hospital equipment, electricity/plumbing, cars... You will also have time for learning the language and culture, and for visiting locals.
Requirements Experience in maintenance work, and ability to be flexible and creative in this remote environment.
Language: our team language is English, but most locals speak an Arabic dialect. Translators can be provided, but we encourage taking time for language learning and will provide the required support for setting this up.
Resilience and good health: needs to be able to live in a hot, dry desert climate.
Prior cross-cultural experience, preferably among Muslims.
