Church Planter (336)

This opportunity is for an individual, couple or family to join a church planting team in northern Spain. At present we are a team of two couples and one individual working under the overall leadership of the Buenas Noticias evangelical church in Lugo, the provincial capital. The work has been underway for about three years and at present we have premises, a regular weekly service with a few local people attending as well as the team and a busy programme of other activity groups associated with the project. Our overall approach is to engage with local people through social and cultural activities which lead to friendship, questions and conversations rather than more direct methods.
Qualifications: We are looking for outgoing people with a passion for creating a church where none exists and willing to engage with local people in culturally relevant ways that build relationship on the way to discipleship. So personality is more important than specific skills however experience of this type of approach would be very valuable.
