This opportunity will see you promoting and distributing Christian literature and other Christian media in Chadian Arabic. The role involves encouraging and training believers in how to use these resources. As well as arriving with French, you will be expected to acquire a good level of Chadian Arabic, but this can be learnt in Chad. Some experience in promoting goods and advertising will be helpful. Relationships are vital; so you should have a warm personality that relates well to all kinds of people and have a passion for Jesus and good Biblical knowledge. A willingness to learn and adapt to a new culture is essential. Have a basic understanding and appreciation of folk Islamic belief and culture as well as animistic beliefs and culture.
