You would be a supervisor for C.O.M.E. (Canadian Overseas Mission Experience) programme. C.O.M.E. is a project of WEC Canada to help WEC members who need to improve their English so they can thrive in multi-cultural teams. This programme mixes classroom experiences with mentoring and ministry/evangelism experiences where students can work in a team situation in the community. Our goal is to serve the wider WEC world through low-cost training. Students live at the Canadian WEC headquarters.
Preference is given to WECers who are training for a leadership role. You would receive applications and processes applicants as well as determining the schedule and content of the program. The supervisor oversees all aspects of the running of the program, and may also teach in the program.
Qualifications: Administrative skills. Experience in teaching ESL and cross-cultural experience with WEC would be an asset. This role would commence at the end of 2022.
