Richard and Lindsey met in 2004 while Richard was serving in Johannesburg, South Africa with WEC. After marrying in 2006, they had two children both born in South Africa, Andrew in 2011 and Jonathan in 2014. They enjoyed being part of WEC South Africa with various roles for several years until they came to Australia in late 2016.

The Parker’s are now based at WEC in Strathfield, Sydney and have enjoyed a change in ministry focus from being those who are sent, to being involved in sending others.

Lindsey is part of the media team, with a focus on developing promotional materials. Lindsey also loves to help develop and run the kids and youth “Stepping into Mission” programs.

Richard is the team leader for Mobilisation within Australia, and he mentors people who are interested in cross cultural ministry. Richard enjoys speaking at churches, youth groups and running kids' programs. He also enjoys training people and church groups for short- and long-term ministry.

Both Lindsey and Richard have other roles with WEC Internationally and see the importance of networking with others. They enjoy being involved in mission conferences like ReachOut.
